I was one of the founders of the Men's Group at the Evanston Church in the mid- 80's.  I have been active ever since, except for 16 months studying yoga and buying printing at an ashram in eastern Pennsylvania . 

Currently, I am living in Evanston , teaching yoga and meditation, and volunteering for the Parliament of the World's Religions.

American men are often disempowered by common male stereotypes.  One result of these stereotypes is a reluctance to express emotion and talk about personal problems.  In caring, non-competitive support groups, men are strengthened by discussion of these subjects.  I am pleased to assist UUMeN in achieving its goals, especially in developing men's support groups within our congregations.
