Drew Johnston

Drew Johnston graduated from Starr King School for the Ministry in 1999 and then served as extension minister in Kennewick , WA , and is now the new minister at the UU Fellowship of Bainbridge Island and North Kitsap , WA (in the Puget Sound ).

He says, “In some ways it was my involvement with a Men’s Group that led me to attend Starr King School and become a UU minister.  Even before joining the Boise Unitarian Universalist Fellowship in Boise , Idaho , I joined the Men’s Group that was forming there at the time.  While there I glimpsed the possibility of deeper, healthier relationships between men. “Of course, deeper, healthier relationships are important and valuable between all people – as men we can gather together to face our common challenges and encourage better ways of interacting with others as well. “For the last 18 years I have been fully engaged in parenting a son who is an increasingly independent young man.”
